Peer Pressure can be really easy to say yes to since its hard to say no. |
Teenage years is one of the most difficult time period their is. This is a time when people are not consider adults nor kids no more. Its a time when we try to find ourselves and try to figure out what we want to become in our lives. Since this time period is a difficult one most teens feel like they alone, like they have no one to help them over come what they going through and they feel like they can NOT count on their parents the most, that's when they turn to their friends.
Friends play a huge role in peer pressure, as everyone wants to fit in and be "cool" they just go with the flow and do what others tell them to do. One of the main cases that can be fine to do and seen take place is the offer of smoking. Most teens just want to "live life" and "experience life" so when they are asked if they want to smoke they say yes because they scared of what others might think. People are scared to say what they think because they will be the "uncool" ones the "party popper" the ones who ruins things, so they are most likely not to speak out.

Most of our surroundings is full of choices. Do what's right. |
There are many ways to say no with not saying no. People can say:
- I'm allergic to smoke
- I'm trying to be a role model for my family
- Some one I new passed away because of smoking
There are many things we can say to get out of such situations. We can just say what comes to mind and what feels more comfortable with us. Just to get out of such problems. Remember we always have two choices do what feels more comfortable with yourselves.
